Our Process

Starts on the Farm.

At the heart of our mission lies a simple but powerful belief: the future of sustainable housing starts at the source. That’s why we’ve rooted our work in Southwest Michigan, cultivating and processing our own industrial hemp to create the most accessible, affordable, and high-performance natural building materials possible. Our investment in the entire supply chain—from soil to structure—is what makes our Farm to Frame model not just a vision, but a reality.

A Stronger Supply Chain for a Stronger Future

Sustainable materials should be local, scalable, and cost-effective. But for too long, the lack of a reliable domestic hemp supply chain has kept natural construction materials out of reach. By establishing our own hemp farm and putting equipment together to decorticate on the farm at a small scale this year, we eliminate the inefficiencies and costs associated with importing raw materials, allowing us to pass those savings on to builders and homeowners. This not only makes hemp-based housing more accessible but also strengthens the regional economy by keeping jobs, resources, and investment right here in Michigan.

Rooted in Michigan, Designed for the Future

Our commitment to Michigan’s economy, environment, and communities is the foundation of everything we do. Investing in local hemp farming isn’t just about producing better materials—it’s about creating jobs, revitalizing rural economies, and proving that regenerative industries can thrive in the Midwest.

By building our supply chain from the ground up, we are laying the foundation for a future where high-performance, sustainable housing is not a luxury—but the new standard. From farm to frame, we are growing the homes of tomorrow—starting today, right here in Michigan.
